From badge to breakthrough.
For nearly a decade, I wore a badge. Law enforcement was my calling — until a car accident took it from me. What followed was a brain injury, multiple spine surgeries, and an income that collapsed almost overnight.
I couldn't show up the way I wanted to for my teenagers. My marriage ended. We lost our house. Depression moved in, and the medications meant to help me altered my mind so deeply that I tried to take my life — four times.
In 2011, dear friends were invited to look at a new opportunity, and they thought of me. That one invitation changed everything. My mind came back. My body began to heal. I said goodbye, one by one, to medications I'd been told I would take for the rest of my life.
I linked arms with a community that taught me about leveraged income — and about a different way to live. I met Dondee. And together we've been blessed to build with people who decided they were done settling, ready to claim more for themselves and for everyone around them.
